Crow Wing County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, obtain an official booking record, arrange a release, post bond, or change a government record. Contact the agency that created or holds the record directly.

Official Crow Wing Contacts

For county-created records and current custody questions, begin with the appropriate Crow Wing County office. The Records Unit maintains county incidents, while the jail handles county custody. City police departments maintain their own city-created reports, so an arrest in Brainerd, Baxter, or Crosslake may require a separate request to that department.

Public-data requests to the Records Unit may be made in person, by mail, email, or phone. Identify the person, approximate date, known booking or incident number, arresting agency, and the specific record requested. Ask the custodian about any applicable fee and response estimate. A jail booking fee assessed to a person in confinement is not a public-record copy fee.

  • For someone currently in the county jail, use the official In-Custody List and review its live timestamp.
  • For a county incident, arrest record, or older booking record, use the Sheriff’s Records Unit.
  • For a Brainerd, Baxter, or Crosslake police report, request the record from the relevant city police department.
  • For a complaint, warrant context, or case disposition, search Crow Wing LENS and consult court administration when needed.
  • For a person under state correctional custody, use the MNDOC public locator. It does not replace a county booking record.
  • For federal or immigration detention, use the appropriate BOP locator or ICE detainee locator.
